Spring Basketball Leagues and Tournaments at the Nothin' but Net Sports Complex
Just FYI, the registration forms for the Spring Basketball Leagues and Tournaments have now been posted to our website www.nbnsportscomplex.com.
As a quick summary of the what we will be hosting this spring and the dates:
-SPRING BASKETBALL LEAGUE:
-Begins March 21.
-Ends before Memorial Day Weekend.
-Registration deadline is March 7.
-Includes 10 game season and a single elimination tournament at the end of the regular season.
-Similar to last year, we will be having games on Weds, Fri., Sat and Sun.
-NBN March Madness Tournament:
-March 30-April 1.
-Registration deadline is March 20.
-Registration fee is $90/team and teams pay refs directly.
-3 game guarantee.
-Open to all select, AAU, travel and school teams!
-SPRING FLING TOURNAMENT:
-May 11th-13th
-Registration deadline is May 1.

University of Cincinnati Shoot Out and Camp
Due to numerous requests WE ARE EXPANDING our Firebird Hoops Youth Fall Basketball League to include grades K - 5. Take advantage of this terrific opportunity for your daughter to get in skill development work from high school coaches before the Winter Basketball Season begins. Spring Youth/Adult Volleyball League
The Spring League
will begin in March. The league will consist of 9 games and a
end of season tournament. Fees for the league are
$110/individual (we will place you on a team) or $350/team ref fees

Preschool Camps:
Starting
April 14 , we
will be having our popular pre-school camp! A different sport
every week for 8 weeks. Boys and Girls ages 4-6. $70.00 and a

2010 Hawk Holiday Basketball Camps

Elks Hoop Shoot Saturday December 18 @ Miami University of Hamilton Gym
The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free throw shooting contest for boys and girls ages 8-13. Boys and girls are separated into separate divisions with three levels: ages 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. Each contestant participates in two rounds; shooting 10 free throws in round 1 and 15 free throws in round 2. The contestant with the highest number of made free throws is declared the winner and is eligible to move on to the Elks Regional Hoop Shoot Contest. Click Here for an informational flyer.
3rd Annual Greater Cincinnati Holiday Shootout
The 3rd Annual Greater Cincinnati Holiday Shootout sponsored by the
Glen Este Youth Basketball Association will be held on the following
dates:
Girls December 13th - 19th
Boys December 20th- January 2nd
This year will feature a competitive/select division and a separate
recreational division. Select will be 4th - 6th grade and rec will
be 3rd - 6th grade. Tournament cost is $135 per team with referee
fees included and a 3 game guarantee. Awards for division champions,
2nd place, and individuals.
The tournament will be held at the following facilities, Union Twp
Civic Center, Glen Este HS and Middle school, and the Blue Ash Rec
Center. The Girls Tournament will be played exclusively at Blue Ash.

25th Annual Sycamore Holiday Basketball Tournament
Greetings from "The Sphere" @ Sports Plus.
Just a quick update about the basketball facilities. We are having a
lot of teams joining the Winter Premier Basketball Leagues and
Tournaments.
Construction and remodeling is in full swing and coaches have been
dropping by to view the 6 court facility. We are located at 10765
Reading Rd - Evendale, Ohio Located @ Sports Plus.
"The Sphere" has a lot of new and exciting installations: New Full
Screen TV'S for viewing Sports - New monitors for schedules to be
viewed in the basketball foyer and New carpeting in foyer- New
Conference room - New Café called KT'S Café with a lot a healthy
foods and drinks including regular concession items - New WI-FI
internet services for spectators to bring laptops and get online
while viewing the games - Adding new national and local advertisings
- New and colorful paddings - New colors for the facility - will be
adding shot clocks, laptops at new score tables to handle stats of
games for online.
A lot of new things - including policies and rules and staffing and
new adding features in clean restrooms.
OUR DEADLINE FOR THE NEW PREMIER WINTER LEAGUE is November 20. 2010.

25th Annual Sycamore Holiday Basketball Tournament
You are invited to join the Sycamore Athletic Club (SAC) for the
25th Annual Sycamore Holiday Basketball Tournament. We hope you or
others from your organizations can join us this year for another
great tournament. Please feel free to pass this to others in your
organization.
You can register early for the Sycamore Holiday Tournament which
will be held on December 28th - January 2nd (No games on New Years
Eve or New Years Day). We again are focusing the event during one
week in order to accommodate everyone's holiday schedule. Games
will not begin before 4:00 p.m on Tuesday - Thursday. Teams will
still be guaranteed a 3-game minimum with playoff games and
championships being held on Sunday.
As last year, the Sycamore tournament will be the only Man-to-Man
only tournament offered during the holidays in the area. The
tournament is open to Select (competitive) 4th, 5th & 6th grade Boys
& Girls teams. Attached is the information (including rules)
regarding the 25th Annual SAC Holiday tournament. This is a great
way to tune back up for the second half of the season following your
break.
Please discuss this tournament option now with your teams so that
they can schedule accordingly. If you have any questions, please

deadline is December 12th, but space is limited, so please get
the attached registration material in early.

Nothin' But Net Tournaments in November
Registrations are due Nov. 12 for two upcoming weekends of basketball tournaments at Nothin' but Net. Get your team ready for the winter seasons with these preseason tournaments! Both tournaments are double elimination, so teams are sure to get a lot of playing time.
Nov. 20 and 21 are OPEN tournaments for boys and girls teams (separate tournaments for boys and girls) for grades 3-12.
Nov. 27 and 28 are boys CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) tournaments for grades 3-8.

Spring Fling 2011
Cincinnati Spark Basketball, Inc. wants to invite you to consider joining them on March 11-13 for Spring Fling 2011. Some features of this tournament include: all games played at one facility, onsite restaurant and full service concession stand, host hotel has a waterpark inside, all teams guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games, team and individual trophies for first and second place teams, all tournament selection, shopping malls within 15 minutes of location. This tournament draws school teams, who use this tournament to close out their season as well as summer programs who have just come together, who use this tournament to gage what areas they need to focus and established AAU programs, who use this tournament to prepare for Nationals. The mix of teams is as diverse as the players' talent levels.
And for the parents who want to spice up their weekend, there is evening entertainment, night clubs and jazz bars, within 15 minutes of the host hotel. Discounts are offered for programs who register multiple teams.

FREE basketball clinic at Courts 4 Sports
Courts4Sports invites you and your coaching staff to a FREE basketball clinic on November 7th at Courts 4 Sports. The FREE Clinic will begin at 6:30 pm. Coach Laurie Pirtle will be conducting the Clinic.
Coach Laurie
Pirtle is
the former University of Cincinnati Women's Basketball Coach.
She recently retired as the head coach for 21 years with a very
successful career. Laurie has nearly 400 career wins, 8 Post
Season Appearances in the last decade, 3 All-Americans, many players
playing professionally, and various Coach of the Year Honors.
She was also inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of
Fame in 2002. Coach Pirtle will be talking about setting up a
practice schedule as well as her favorite "drills".

Best in the West Boy's 1st & 2nd Grade Clinic
Directed by Sean Van Winkle, Head Lakota Boy's Coach. The Basketball Clinic is designed to teach the basic fundamental skills and instruction of the great game of basketball. These fundamentals are provided within a fun and competitive environment. This instructional camp has been developed by the boy’s basketball coaching staff. The clinic is designed for current 1st and 2nd grade boys. Clinics are in mid-November through mid-December.

2009 Lakota East Women's Basketball Youth Development Program
A youth development program this Fall for future Lakota East Women's Basketball players! Begins with hour long sessions on Sat. Sept. 12th. The sessions are $10 if you pay at the door or $45 for all 5 sessions if you pay in advance. All money will be put into the Lakota East Women's Basketball program. The program targets grades 4-8 to develop skills and learn fundamentals.

2009 KBA Preseason Basketball Tournament
The KBA Board is pleased to announce the dates for 2009 KBA Preseason Basketball Tournament. This year the tournament will be held at McGee’s Courts 4 Sports in Mason, Ohio on Sat., Nov.14; Sun. Nov 15; Sat., Nov. 21 and Sun., Nov. 22. As in past years, the tournament will be for 4th, 5th, & 6th grade competitive boys and girls teams. The tournament costs $225 per team (ref fees included) and guarantees a minimum of 4 games.
